New Year's Concert, 2005.

OK so it’s not Italian Christmas music as such, but it’s recorded at ‘La Fenice’, Venice’s famous opera house, and this DVD is the prefect antidote to the excesses of the festive season.
With music by Rossini, Verdi and Puccini, vocal performances from Giuseppe Gipaldi and Annalisa Raspagliosi and backed by the La Fenice chorus this is one of the best New Year’s concerts from Venice.
By the time you’ve heard ‘Rudolph’ for the thirtieth time, you’ll be glad you bought it!
